The gray black and white one is a piebald merle. :)
It looks like it was possibly banded, or supposed to be, but you can never know for sure without breeding.

As far as the blue point himilayan splashed. . . I'm not really sure other than getting a good look at him, because there's so many genes all working at one time on something like that it's hard to breed and identify it for sure. :P

Jeeze. I feel like breeding mice with multiple genes is as difficult as doing multi variable calculus (which I'm also doing).

I love merle. Probably one of my favorite colors <3 There were 3 or 4 other male merle's some piebald, some not. I wasn't sure if I should grab them all or not. I could always go back. What do you think?

Here are more photos of the little guy. He's hard to photograph to where you can see what he looks like. Mice are little squirmers. He does look like a gerbil I had once and he was a Himalayan

Okay well he's definitely blue point himilayan. I'm not sure if he's splashed or not. You can find out if he's splashed, by breeding him to a black mouse that is not splashed. If you got splashed in the litter, you know he's splashed, if you don't get splashed, he's not splashed.

Merles are nice, they're not especially rare, but if you like them then go ahead and get more. :P

But you can just breed the one mouse to other mice, and eventually start up a line of merle from that single mouse, too.

Awesome, that should be easy. I was reading through some threads on another mouse website and came across some info that splashed mice have a higher chance of odd eyed babies. I wonder if I can somehow come up with odd eyed babies with my splashed. That would be nice. Gotta love that random gene.

Well, they do, but it seems to only be in some lines.

I have had some odd-eyes in my splashed, but it's only ruby and dark ruby. Never had a black and red odd-eye yet.
