She is and she does. But as soon as I open that lid, she's angling to get out and explore. Grrr.

I have asf's, but you don't want live inside your house, they are cute and asf hoppers will even snuggle with your snakes ;)
My baby that was stubborn is now up to 440 grams will switch back and forth from asf's to small rats.

Keep at it Julie we had to darken the room for our little guy and just tossed the mouse in with him and leave him set for a bit the first few times. Might try that cause I know the feeling my wife and duaghters would kill me if I fed a live rodent to any snake:O

i guess im lucky my hatchling is pounding f/t rat pups after her first meal being live, she hasnt refused a f/t rat pup ever since ive had her tonight is going to be her 9th f/t meal straight. The breeder was feeding live too and i feed her every 4-5 days

My other hatchling is taking f/t rats with no problem at all. Maybe she's just watching her figure, lol.

Okay, following up with some almost awesome news! She ended up taking a f/t! She didn't exactly strike, but she took it and downed it with no problem. We put in a live asf hopper and she was not in the least bit interested. In fact, at one point she crawled right over it. <sigh> But I'm thrilled she ate!

    That's good.

I know some people have success with chick down and rub it on the F/T.

    Just offering suggestions.
