i know how tough it is... we had to put my wifes dog down about 6months ago it was really tough for her... they become like ur kids basically a member of the family, they are there for you when u have a bad dog and need some attention they are always there for ya .. im sorry for your loss but if it was with her best intentions in mind, then u did the right thing !
