I love the original 3, think the new 3 could have been massively better than they were, and HATE the unnecessary changes Lucas has made to the original 3 with every re-release. Han shot first!

I really like the new ones..I enjoy seeing the story and the Jedi do what they were meant too. It's like seeing the Samurai in their element..I think the CG lent it self to the scope of the story but that it was the early movies and the way they were filmed that made people go and see the new ones..Face it the only reason Transformers was a Joygasam was because so many people grew up on them..

Admit it Seeing Yoda kick ass was fun wasn't it..I mean when the Sith is afraid of one little green guy you know hes got to be the balls..

    Ok..Geek moment over..

I can appreciate them all. They could have done better with the newer ones, but c'mon, you have to AT LEAST appreciate the CGI on a nice big high def TV. I love them all, especially Revenge Of The Sith and Empire Strikes Back. I think after this disc of South Park finishes I am going to have to put in ROTS. Woot!

One thing that kinda bums me out. They didn't kill Jar-Jar Binks. Cliche, I know, but here is how I would have had him die. In Revenge Of The Sith when Anakin force chokes Padme on Mustafar, they should have had Jar-Jar run off the ship, grab one of his lightsabers and try to duke it out with Anakin to protect Padme. That way, he would have died (making us all happy) as well as him completely redeeming himself (again, making us all happy!) and him not going out like a punk. To me, that would have been win-win. Can I get an Amen?

I had the comics as a kid too. Read them all. Love the original 3. Empire Strikes Back is hands down the best. Vader is my all time favorite character. The 3rd movie out of the new ones is pretty good. Ties everything together. But I didn't like episodes 1 and 2.

Of course I don't like Star Wars *said while playing Star Wars Monopoly, wearing Princess Leia ear muffs and eating noodles with her brand new Star Wars chopsticks*. e_e Whoever told you different is a lying liar who lies.

But I'd have to agree, the oldies are much better. :D

I have to say that I love Star Wars, buuuut, the movies are just ok. Greivous is probably my favorite character from the movies. His background is just too cool....though his death was random and didn't make any sense.

    Anywho.

But really, in my mind, George Lucas created a nice foundation, and should leave it alone. There are so many great stories in the expanded universe.

Anyone who has played Knights of the Old Republic would understand.
