    I woke up and it was 44 outside. I was shivering after my morning smoke. So a nice spot check of the snakes in the nice 83 degree room felt nice. I might sleep in there tonight LOL

    Do you have a thermostat? Like a herpstat? I have my oil heater set on max... Connected through my herpstat.. Set to 77. The herpstat has an option to Change the output to on/off mode rather then power supply. And wow It works amazing.. I cant put into words how good of an investment my herpstat 2 was.. I have my rack on one output and my oil heater on the other. That way my racks are perfect and my room is perfect.

    My next will be the herpstat 4 or the other top of the line one they have.. IMO best thing i have bought for my snakes yet!!!

    This time of year does suck! It will be nice when the heating is on and the house temps are somewhat stable! It's only a matter of time before I have to turn on the space heater in the snake room :(
