    It may take several months of pairing before you see a lock! In my opinion, pairing regularly helps them get to know each other and will help them breed eventually! I would keep pairing by having him in for 3 days then out for 4 days. If they are virgins, it may take a few months. I would pair until at least February! Good luck and be patient!

    I have heard putting another males shed in a spray bottle with water over night then lightly misting the cage helps.. This is my first year attempting will be introducing next month or so hopefully.

    This morning I took a peek and I saw my male pastel locked with my 100% het pied female. No doubt they were locked. I'm hopeing for a male pastel het(I'm going to guess) to breed, and next year with lots of luck get a pastel pied. I'm soo happy to see my little guy become a man... Lol
