Prefered method of heating f/t

When I receive them frozen, I place each rat in an individual ziplock baggie. The night before feeding, I place bagged rat in refrigerator. When my BP looks active and ready to eat, I take the rat from the refrigerator and place into my "cooker". This is a large, deep plastic container filled with very hot water with a gallon size ziplock draped over the container's edges, making a dry, warm "waterbed". I place the bagged rat down inside, weight it down with large, polished rocks, then put the lid on , catching the edges of the gallon ziplock. I check about every twenty minutes until the rat's completely warmed and ready to feed. Kinda hard to explain, but it's really easy! :)

I put mine in a zip lock bag lay them out for an hour or two then put them under heating pad with low or medium heat till warm that way I don't run back and forth from the sink for hot water works perfect every time and really speeds things up

Thanks for the suggestions and the link. I think I'm going to get myself a cheap blow dryer.

on a warm day i like to ziplock bag mine and leave it in the car on the dashboard for an hour or so checking it periodically. on cooler days i just throw it in a ziplock and into a basin of hot water.

I put them in the fridge before I go to work. After they thaw I put them in zip lock freezer bags and toss them in a bucket of hot water to warm up. If the bag leaks I'll use the hair dryer on them but it usuallly isn't necessary.

I take mine out of the freezer in the morning around 5:30am and put them in the fridge. At around 3:30pm my daughter takes them out of the fridge and puts them out somewhere to get them at room temperature. Around 6:00pm I put them in individual baggies with the top open and lean them near one of the holes in the tubs to scent the area. Right before feeding, I zap them with a hairdryer (checking temps with a heat gun) and WHAMMOO they are gone almost as soon as they are offered.

take them out of the freezer and out of bags put them in a 5 gallon bucket go to the bath tub turn it on hot... Just hot enough that it doesn't burn you when you touch it... Set them next to my rack to "scent the room" for about 45 mins. By this time the rats are completely thawed and the snakes have smelled the food and are looking to eat. The only refusals i've gotten since I did it this way was my het pied female that didn't eat for 4 months and then some of the snakes won't eat in shed.

Zip lock bag hot water for an hour or so depending on size and how many. Blow dryer to heat them up. I dont know why some people just throw them in water. When ever I have a bag leak they take for ever to dry and some of my snakes wont take em wet.

Now I just use water straight from the sink cause for some reason my apartment sink gets scalding hot really fast, so I dont have to heat up the water in the microwave anymore.

Usually let them sit in the hot water until the water is room temp I usually forget about them, but by that time theyre thawed. Then I put them new hot water to re heat them before I feed.
