the only thing i dont like about recessive morphs is that they produce hets if you breed to a normal, but when you breed dom and co dom 50% will be that morph.

If there are any morphs that seem better than mojave or albino call it out. I'm just looking for a cool morph. Now not morphs that are combination morphs. Base morph.

There are so many morphs these days, you can do so much with. A lot of the base morphs I love are because of what they can do as combos such as yellow bellies and cinnamons. I like certain ones a base morphs but mostly for what they can do with other morphs like I mentioned above.

My personal favorite base morphs are lessers, albinos, ghosts, spiders, and pinstripes. All of these look incredibly unique. This all completely changes when you are talking about the breeding aspect.

Out of all those for a single gene male morph I would probably only consider getting a lesser, spider, or pinstripe. The other two recessive genes (albino, ghost) I would get as a female, unless I already had a visual female morph to breed to.

Check out worldofmorphs.com, it will make your head explode with how many choices are available.

    Enjoy!

    My :2cent:,

I'm very attracted to the color visual morphs. Love the albinos, lessers, axanthics, pieds, etc. I would absolutely jump at an albino (which I've done...and I'm getting .2 het albinos to pair with him ;)).

As others have said, it all comes down to what you like.

With the time it takes to grow a female, thats what you should build on first.
You dont want to learn the hard way, if I had it to do over I wouldnt be a male heavy as I am.
Build you female stable first then in a year or two get a couple cool combo males.:gj:

    Blow you mind HERE:rofl::rofl:

As others have said females take longer to matures, so its best to get your females first.

Now for Mojos vs Albinos, they are both beautiful morphs but I'm an Albino fan hands down.

    Some of my Albino projects:

    High contrast Albino:

    Albino Spider:

    Albino Black Pastel:

Mojos can make some cool combos but I think if you add Albino to anything the results are just amazing.

    Re: Are albinos worth getting?
The decision would have to be made based on what you want to do with combos. There are alot of great combos made with both morphs. Recessive combos will always hold their value longer then codom combos. If your just trying to produce single gene animals with them then either way will give you about the same outcome financially. Me personally i like the recessive combos.

It depends on what you like more and what you plan to do.. honestly I have never liked albinos in the ball python world ( give me a burm though and I drool) until I saw a lavander albino.. now they are on my list. Remember these animals live for 20 years some times.. what do you want to look at everyday for 20 years.. that is what you should get.

Depends on what you want. For me, having an albino is like having the 'little black dress'.. Never out of style! You can always count on albinos to look gorgeous, attract eyes, and still retain relative popularity. They are like the classy ball python morph, and one of the few more expensive morphs that people who have no plans to breed will still buy! But if you don't like it, don't get it!

Purplemuffin that's how I think with my albino! I actually prefer the albinos over my little black dress. Lol.

I do enjoy the albinos though. I love the combos. Plus recessive combos take a little longer to produce and retain value well. I love them all though. 
