That's why I got out. Sick of their bull. I knew a guy who was infantry and lost his hearing cuz of it, they re-classed him to a cook and then said the kitchen noise was bad for his ears so they said he can either get out or become a seamstress. No lie!! But he pulled some strings and became an engineer. Good luck.
