Tub with tight fitting lid, no holes, no press-n-seal, Hatch-Rite as a medium. Cut a couple small slots for the probe and thermometer wires. Open the tub once a week to check eggs and clear condensation from tub lid.

    Sorry if I missed this,

But what kind of incubator are you using?

Beause that could easily change the answer.

Just finishing it! DIY incubator that says a nice even temperature please let me know what you think I should do! Ran by a herpstat, powered by 4' of heat 11" heat tape, water on the bottom to hold some warmth in when i open it and a small circulation fan to keep the temp inside with only a .5 F degree change. Haven't finished yet but when i do I am posting it on the DIY Forum!

This was my first year breeding, had 2 clutches, 12 eggs total, 100% hatch - eat !!

Mini fridge we made into an incubator will hold 8 clutches total. Small locking rubbermaids with hatchrite and light diffuser. Temps at 89-90 degrees. Little fan in incubator as well.

After 6 years of waiting a very exciting year for us!!!

Where do you purchase the light diffuser? Also what temp is recommended to be at while the tub full of eggs is in the incubator?

You can get light diffuser at home depot for about $12 for a 4x2 sheet.

You can incubate between 87 and 92, I incubate at about 89-90.
