It's a prehensile-tailed porcupine, Del. They stink something awful.

Awesome pictures! Incredibly jealous :) I'm hoping to get down to Peru for the same reason at some point, but I doubt it'll happen in the next few years.

Great pics! Lots of bugs! The pic of the 2 Severe Macaws is probably my favorite.

Thank goodness for digital cameras! You'd spent a fortune trying to develop all those pics!
