Im such a DUMBA**!!!!

Im using all 8 watt tape. Even the area thats side by side is gonna be hotter than just a single strip. I know that where its folded its gonna be hotter but the tub doesnt touch it. The rack is 2 foot deep and the tub is only about a foot wide. So it has a bit of a distance inbetween. Later on ill soder on a new plug.

The temps are fine for now though.

I was more worried that the bend would cause damage to the tape or other problems that might lead to a fire risk.

And flexwatt is measured in watts per foot so if you are using twice the length on one shelf it will be twice the wattage of every other shelf.
