    Nice one Randy. :D

Just like technically co-dom type animals are "visual" hets, I think some recessive hets can be visual. It's just a lot harder to pick them out. For instance lots, but not all, het hypo balls are brighter than normal and the belly marks on most het pieds. I've seen het G-Stripe animals that for sure look different than their non-het relations.

All that said, buying hets needs to include a high level of trust in the breeders honesty and/or skills. :D

Yes, hypo is another example. I produced this hypo cinnamon from a pair of 50% chance het hypos (the male was also cinnamon) picked based on being brighter than their siblings.

I'd love to hear more about what to look for in het stripes. I have an albino from a possible double het albino striped to a possible het albino (just went with luck on that pick) that I'm hoping has a het stripe pattern.

The genes in your snake that it got from its parentsare the only genes it can pass on, ie normal x spider will only produce normals and spiders. spider x pastel will produce spiders, pastels, and spider pastels (and some normals), basically your babies could inherit any combination of the genes from each parent. They are only passed on 100% if the parent is homozygous for that trait.

So does this albino look promising for het genetic stripe?
