A mojave was the first morph i bought and she is still my favorite. She as she has gotten older and has almost a steel to her bleaching spots in color and has stayed pretty bright. I love her and will be breeding her next year.

i also hope to own an axanthic one day... though i vowed i didnt want to work with recessives:rolleyes:

    I completely disagree.

Mojaves always have a high demand because they look awesome and have a great Super form.

As for the Axanthics, they live and eat and breath just as well as any other morph. I've produced plenty and have not had losses.

Re: a breeder told me today......
I would buy my snakes from someone else. either he doesn't know what's he's talking about, or he's not being honest with you. someone I wouldn't want to do business with.

    Thanks!

That's bull LOL. And when you bread 2 mojaves you get blue eyes luecistics and who doesn't want one of those cuties? I'm sure the breeder is speaking from experience but just because he can't sell a snake doesn't mean that people don't want them. I'm in the market for a breeding pair of mojaves myself so... lol

As for axanthics - I say do it! I'm working with some het. axanthics this year. Not a lot of people breed them and maybe that's saying something but they are awesome snakes - and come with a nice price tag depending on your area. NO ONE breeds them in my area so they're worth DOLLARS!!

    Cheers!
