This is kind of important to note. Your snake will not die because it went 1-3 days without a hot spot. Snakes are a lot more durable than people give them credit for. :D

I know what you mean. They are currently forecasting a direct hit here in MHC so I will probably be heading to Raleigh tomorrow afternoon. My plan is to just load all of my snakes tubs into my SUV, which has tinted windows around the back. Once I reach the hotel I will hang a sheet up to shield any potential sunlight from shining through, and I will put water bowls in the tubs. Since they are forecasting the temps to be between 75-85 for the next couple of days, I will just periodoically check on them throughout the day to make sure it isn't getting too warm. Oh, and I am skipping their scheduled feeding today. Hopefully there won't be any trees on my house or standing water in it when I get back on Sunday. :please: Good Luck to all on the East Coast....
