    Ok, just bought everything:
    The HydroFarm, the UTH and the Acurite thermometer...


    but until the hydrofarm gets here, i decided to build my own rheostat:

    and the best part? It works!

    Just finished modifying the thermometer... I've got 2 good news and 2 bad news:

    Good News:
    1- The termometers (in and out) work ok!
    2- my ambient temperature is SEXY (80-84*) Meaning that I can just leave one side of the tank ALONE so it can be the cold side!

    Bad news:
    1- I messed up the hygrometer sensor (i think I burned it....:rolleyes:)
    2- my humidity is too high (of course taken BEFORE messing with it). We are talking about 65-75% humidity :O... Will aspen drop this?

    Fixed it! but now I don't know if the hygrometer is kinda high, or the humidity here is CRAZY high...

    Besides from a de-humidifier, what is the best way to drop the humidity ?
