    I used couplings briefly... they tip.

    I just use different sized ramekin dishes with the right sized deli cup in them.

    Could u not simply tack the pvc down with some super glue?? Voila poormans ars!!

    Tacking down the PVC means those edges are a great place for feces and urine to collect and would be a pain to clean. And if you use newspaper for bedding it is not Terribly convenient.

    But would u not run into the same issue if u went to a proffesional ars tub with built in holder. Seems some sacrifice needs to be made if u want that option
