I had my hot side on a rheostat briefly and the temp in the enclosure actually rose kind of exponentially with the room temp. Basically 2 or 3 degrees up in the room and the enclosure was at or over 100*!! A Thermostat helps me sleep at night cause i know it will keep it in check
