I prefer sweet wines, Plum Loco from a vineyard in New Mexico is amazing if you like sweet wine. Moscatos are also great.

I love red wine. :P But if you are looking to explore, you should first know what your price range is. Then try anything and everything that you can, so you know what kinds of wine you like. There are all sorts of rules out there that people say you should drink wine with, but I think they are wrong. Usually, a wine label will give you pointers on what the wine tastes good with. That's a good place to start. For more information on different kinds of red wine, check out: http://www.redwinetourguide.com/types-of-red-wine.html :gj:

I cannot remember the name of the place, but it is just north of Grand Junction, Colorado. I think the towns name was Palisade. Anyway their wines were always pretty good. That's definitely a compliment coming from me as most wines are t bitter for my taste. I prefer Grey Goose.
