Re: Questions Regarding My 2 Ball Pythons
    Hi,

Is there any way to get nice clear pics of these "silver eyes" - I ask because it could be describing a normal shed or stuck eyecaps and it is important to know which before we give you advice. :gj:

Alright , I just finish taking some photos. Its the best I can do right now, as The snakes are sleeping (i think) and they are not active...

Here is a photo of my Red Tail Boa,
    http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...4/100_0019.jpg
And its 35 gal tank, (well i think it is)
    http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...4/100_0020.jpg

Here is one of the Ball Pythons face, See what I'm talking about with they eyes?
    http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...4/100_0017.jpg
    And the body,
    http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...4/100_0017.jpg

Heres a photo before i moved anything or touch them, they both under the water bowl,
    http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...4/100_0006.jpg

Then after I moved the water bowl,
    http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...4/100_0007.jpg
    Here's another one
    http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...4/100_0005.jpg

And then the tank it's self
    http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...4/100_0004.jpg

Please give me any tips, I notice on one snake the silver eye diapered or what ever you want to call it....

P.S I am going to buy more stuff for them once I get them both a separate tank.

As for the lighting I have a black light witch gives off a lot of heat, when should I turn it on and off?

This is what I use. It's easier than misting and allows the snake to choose when it wants to go in or out of the more humid environment. Plus it helps keep ambient humidity up.

Humid Hide - Sterilite tub with hole in the side, Forest Bedding reptile substrate inside and kept damp, not wet.

Thanks, I'm going to make something like this once I get a bigger tank and after I move into my new place. I never knew there was so much you could do for these snakes and the creativity you could use :)

Looking at your pics, the first thing is that they need some good, tight fitting hide boxes. And definitely separate them as soon as you can. Second, the silver on the snake's eye in the last picture is a retained eye cap. I would just leave it alone, bump up your humidity and MAKE SURE the humidity is hight for it's next shed. It should come off at that time. If it DOESN'T there are a few tricks you can try but I'll save those for the instance it doesn't come off with the next shed.

No problem :). There is a whole Do-It-Yourself (DIY) forum on this site that is FULL of useful, easy to make stuff for your snakes.

Can you get a picture of your snakes eyes? I'm thinking they are just going into shed and their eyes are clouding over which is perfectly normal. Also, a pink cast to the snakes entire belly is also perfectly normal in that stage of the shed cycle.

They have not shed sins I got them and if you look at the pics the head of one of them is starting to peel. I think 100% they are shedding I feed them like 3 days ago is it most likely they are? Also when I look now there eyes well I only check one didn't look how it did before and it looks normal.

When is the next time I should feed them? After the shed or in a week or two?

Thanks spoooo much guys if it was not for this site I would be worried and stressing a lot .
