One thing to keep in mind, Yellowbelly ball pythons don't actually have a yellow belly.

Yours look like a decent adult pastel, but not a yellowbelly.

I agree with your assessment of her snake but yellowbelly's not having a yellow belly kind of throws me?
It is named yellowbelly for a reason I thought
I would agree that there's some inferior quality yb's that don't possess the bright yellow that a quality yellowbelly belly displays.

The write-up I posted above mentions that the name refers to the sides of the belly, not the belly itself. Though, of course most YBs do have actual yellow bellies. Just what I read, clearly I'm no expert, I don't even own one yet. :P

The name yellow belly I thought referred to the way the yellow from the sides is carried more into the belly as well. Yes, some yellow bellies have all yellow bellies, but I didn't think it was an important quality in them. I've seen some amazing looking yellow bellies whose bellies weren't very yellow.

Thanks for all the fast replies! I took a bunch more pics of Louis. He was not very happy that I was trying to take pictures of him upside down! Any advice on how to take an easy belly pic? It wasn't easy, as he is a rescue and still getting over some burns on his belly so I'm sure he doesn't like being exposed there. You cant see much of the burns in these pics, they are closer to the end of his tail.
    So, here you go! :gj:

He does have beautiful blushing, maybe those first two pics didn't show them off too well as he was wrapped around someone's neck!

Thanks Gale! I do know that most of the time their actual bellies aren't yellow. My BP just has a brighter yellow that runs along the sides of his belly. Actually, I didn't even think he was anything but pastel until I noticed how bright that yellow is. Unfortunately my camera doesn't capture it as beautifully as it is, but I'm sure that with the new pics we can come to a conclusion without a doubt. Thanks a lot!

Ok, just wondering did you mean pastel yellow belly? or just YB? I didnt know there was pastel yb's and I just thought this may be a normal YB.

It's a nice pastel, but it doesn't have any yellowbelly in it whatsoever. The "granite" like pattern on the belly is the most important thing for a yellowbelly to have, and yours does not have it. That's pretty well the defining feature of a yellowbelly.
