    One thing I have heard, is to put a dirty shirt on or in their cage so they can get used to your sent, and are more comfortable when it is time to handle him. But give him a good week to settle in at least.

    Curious, if anyone else has heard this, and if it works?

    Honestly, he just needs time to adjust.

    Right now he sees you as a vicious giant out to eat or crush him, you'd be snappy too. :P

    Once he has a little time to figure out you aren't going to hurt him, he'll settle down. I know you are on a tight timeline, but the baby is going to come around in his time, not yours.

    Worst case scenario, give your brother a photograph of the baby and a certificate that reads, " Free snake training session " to be redeemed by him with you, and then tell him you have already started the training.
