Sweet new additions, congrats! :D the vagans has some nice color on her! And of course the balfouri and the regalis are fantastic, but the chelicerae on the cyanognathus are striking! I'm thinking I might cave in and get one last minute anyways if I can afford it when I go get my ockerti tomorrow

Thanks!!! I love this balfouri!!!!!! This one seems to be pretty laid back so far too which is nice. Last one I had was throwing threat poses out of the shipping container and acted like an OBT. Hope this one stays laid back :please: Guess we will see how time change's things. I am also hoping this balfouri is female :please: Last one I had turned out to be a male. The males are waaaay hotter then the females but they have such a short life span :rage: With my luck its probably another male though - lol.
BTW, I got a good ventral look at my immanis and I know that it is definitely a male. You can see the fusillae loud and clear now. It's going to be a super hottie when it matures but this means I am going to have to buy another sling at some point in time to try for a female again.
The blue fang is an awesome T!!! It was/is very spastic and fast though which is why rehousing was so hard. I didn't see it kick any hairs though. It would have been interesting to see one kick them from the front. It stinks that they burrow and you rarely see them when they get older but I have so many T's that it's not really an issue for me. I never wanted a Haplopelma lividum because it's a pet hole but I am very much looking forward to picking one of them up in the future now too!!!!

Thanks!! After you get your 3 and if you really enjoy them you will end up picking up more at some point :salute: :D
On a side note the regalis female came out of the shipping container last night and I got this quick pic this morning before she hide behind the cork bark:

Sweet, I hope s/he stays chill for you. My pulchripes was a total sweetheart when we took her out of the transport container, but now she becomes airborne whenever you disturb her :/ hope your balfouri doesn't turn out to be like that!
Ooh, thanks for the update! That's the trouble with immanis, the females are humungo and black and live long, but the males are just so sexy! Its hard to know what to want :P good luck on your next one being female though! *fingers crossed*
Yeah, that's my plight with them - they're one of my all time favorites and they're hard to glimpse even in captivity. :( ah well. I guess the burrowers are so cool looking that the rare glimpses are enough of a reward. An H. lividum would be an awesome addition! If you get one, make sure to post pics. Going over to the burrowing dark side, huh? :P
Also, the regalis is looking real good :gj: I love the hints of yellow that they have. Dangit, you're making me want pokies now!

I am hoping my balfouri stays calm but I highly doubt it. Most have the baboon attitude. It probably just needs to settle in before it goes obt :D
I am starting to branch out in different directions. It could be because I have done a lot of the same things and kept the same T's before? I am not a got to have them all tarantula person but I enjoy the diversity of different temperments, speed, living requirements etc of working with a wider range of different T's. Like I am considering picking up a female T. stirmi (burgandy goliath bird eater) and putting live plants in the set up. Never had a live plant set up before so it would be new and interesting to try out.
