Everyone on FB is lol'ing at me for her name

I do have another question... well, two,

    1. Okay, so i have a 30 gallon glass tank with a wire mesh top, thats covered in tin foil except for where the heat lamp is. I thought the foil was s'pose to help with humidity, but its still really dry. ideas? How do you know your humidity is low? You can raise it by misting regularly, adding a bigger water bowel, using cypress or aspen as bedding.
    2. When shes crawling around on me, she often presses her chin down on me with more force than the rest of her body, particularly between my fingers and on my wrist. Does anyone know what this means...? Nothing special that I know of  Could be just her/his way of checking things out :D

    thanks all ^^

Honestly, I'm just assuming cause the air just feels dry in the tank. I have a pretty big water bowl, aspen bedding, and i mist 3x a day.

Okay, i figured it must be something like that, she also likes pinchin her neck around my rings haha

You can try picking one of these up from walmart to use to give you an idea of the humidity in your tank. Think they are like $7-8. And you need 1 AA battery. Doesn't come with one.

oh thanks a lot! I will definitely pick one up, i hadn't been sure if ones that weren't specifically made for reptiles would be okay to use.

Hello! I am new here too. And your snakie is very adorable. As to an answer to your question, I would take the tin foil off and use a dark towel instead. Also, spray down the tank and whatever plants you have in there whenever you walk by an it looks dry. Every four to five hours if you have that much time. The dark towel works great for me. Also, using dirt as well as mulch helps a lot with the humidity.
