    Hi,

The watermark is simply because it makes low life scamming punks work harder at pretending they have snakes they don't.

And if your sites watermark doesn't cover the snake then it will be a prime scammer resource.

They will simply paint out or chop off your bottom logo, claim the snake as theirs in adverts, and try and scam people out of their money.

Dr Del is correct--you may want to consider reducing the size of the watermark, but putting over the animal instead of in the corner.

There ARE people who steal pictures so they can claim they are pictures of an animal they have for sale, and then run off when the customer sends the money. This makes things much harder for the online reptile market.

Go google "*insert morph here* ball python" you can find just about any picture of any morph you want already, water marking your pictures isn't going to change anything at this point. Also I don't believe a few random morons should ruin the viewing pleasure of everyone else.

The scammers right now are easy to protect from, so i'm not going to give them a 2nd thought. I don't want the scammers have an effect on how I post pictures on the internet, its kinda like letting them win in a way. I'd rather throw the picture under a sharealike license (which all pictures are on my site) so If they get caught trying to "sell" an animal you have a lot stronger legal grounds to stand on than a simple copyright.

if you disagree... well I'm standing firm on this, sorry.

Here we go, make everyone happy... 3 options now

-Place name on bottom right side of picture.
-Place name in middle of picture.
-Add your own watermark or do not place a name.
