Re: Female laying egg/egg's right now!! Question?
    Hi,

Yeah I have to agree aspirating them is probably the best way forward if she can't get them out.

I would try and get the cage really humid at the moment - it probably won't help but I don't think it could hurt either.

With the meds and the body condition you described eggs are the last things she needs to be producing and may not make it anyway.

I don't think there is anything I'd recommend you do before talking to a vet.

If you aspirate the one at her vent and she passes that there is no garuantee she could pass the second any easier.

I wish I knew more so that I could help you. :(

Her health is 100% number 1. The condition she was/is still in puts her at even bigger risk.

Its important she has good humidity, and privacy. If she is laying them right now she may be ok. But she should lay them relativly in a short span of time. She shouldnt lay one or two and then not lay any more. She should lay them all in one session. She should be coiled up on the hotspot with her tail in the middle of her coil. I would worry if she lays one or a couple and then no more and you can see she still has more to lay. Or if she is visibly straining, or writhing.

From the sounds of the condition she was in I wouldnt have let her get this far. If she hasnt laid soon I would call the vet and get her in immediatly.

when i got her she weighed 3 1/2 pounds when i first seen her months befor she weighed 5lbs so i never seen her gravid or even noticed she was gravid.my main objective was to nurse her back and thats what i did. she had no signs of resp,or any reason to bring to the vet other then her not eating and being limp.they didnt have a heat source in her tank or anything so i figured she was cold and that being why she didnt eat and was limp.the vet would of done the shots just like i did.dont have tons of money for vets visits but do have a friend breeder and his wife is a vet so the snake was looked at and well taken care of and for the record i had her for aBOUT 2 MONTHS NOW.there out of town right now so thats why i turned to you guys.hope that clears up any questions now back to my question.thank you...

she passes stool with no problems, she drinks.eats, and is very alert so she shouldnt be constipated.

I understand...vet visits are expensive. The limpness I would have seen as a reson in of itself. But guesses over the internet are not going to help her now. With egg binding the only thing that can be done is aspirating the contents of the eggs and helping her pass them. The only thing i can say like Dr. Del said make it really humid if she doesnt pass them or what ever it may be she needs to see a vet.

Are you sure it's an egg?
Try to touch it and see if it's hard, if so it's a urate, and you may have to help her pass it.
