I'm pretty sure she's egg bound????

She looks bound to me, I'd get her to a qualified vet. It looks like she started to lay and the one egg is bound and the others are piled up behind it.

Agreed. That also looks to be too far up from the vent to be her preparing the first egg for deposition.

She just passed so urates or something creamy looking does this mean anything?

A vet check won't do any harm. It does look a little unusual to me.

A gravid snake about to lay should be lying on the heat source in a perfect coil when she isn't moving around restlessly and twisting her body to move the eggs into position. If she's not doing that, I'd do the vet. If she is, then I would spray her bin down good to spike the humidity, and leave her alone completely for 48 hours. (No peeking).

My snakes all prefer to lay when undisturbed--I usually find eggs after I've left them alone for over a day.

That sounds like the "waxy" substance that many females will pass just prior to egg laying. However, it may also be her attempt at lubricating to get that egg out. I personally would go ahead and aspirate about 20-25 mLs out of that egg if she hasn't passed it in the next 48 hours. More than likely you will lose the egg, but you will still have the female (alive). I have witnessed an aspirated egg make it through incubation to hatching.

A little off topic, but how does one aspirate an egg? I know the general concept, but would like to see how it's actually done...Just curious.

A needle is inserted into the egg, and the contents are aspirated out, making the egg smaller and easier for the female to pass. If the egg is not located at the vent, then the needle is inserted through the abdomen of the snake to aspirate the contents of the egg.

Any update? Did she lay and/or did you take her to the vet? Poor thing, that looks painful... :(
