Hey all just got home from Tampa. Show was neat, my first reptile show and it was great fun! I was a bit surprised though, some of the prices were pretty high. I guess I was expecting to get some deals and see some morphs less than retail but the vast majority were priced the same as breeder websites and some of the higher dollar morphs were crazy over-priced...there were some pastel pied hatchlings for $4k :O I know a breeder who has 2 really nice ones for $2500...that's quite a price difference.

I was also surpised in the lack of females for sale and lack of BPs in the 400-600 range. Everything seemed to be hatchlings or breeder males. I didn't see anything I couldn't live without....only thing I brought home was a Super Pastel female I traded my bumble bee for. So that was good, but otherwise didn't see any deals.

I also was bummed there weren't more people selling racks. There was only one dealer there from Tampa and I was so hoping there'd be some people selling used racks. But then again I went today towards the end of the weekend so maybe people sold out of them if they had any.

still was a good time. loved checking out all the turtles and lizards...I'm not much of a frog person so I steered clear of the frogs and bugs...haha! ;)
