Yeah i think ive seen that picture about 20 million times.

I dont think its photoshoped, you dont have to be 7 foot tall and built like a football player to sit in a tub and hold a snakes head or "handle a snake that big"

It depends on what you mean by "handle"

that has to be real,the hand holding the snakes head is perfectly grasped in the shape of the snake head. if that is photshop i wish i could get some lessons from who ever did that!

From the references I've seen to that picture, it's from the country retic's are from. Supposedly that is the family house pet or something like that.

I would not be surprised if that picture was real. Remember customs are very different throughout the world, including parenting.
Also know that in Asia / Indonesia there are many wild caught reticulated pythons and an over whelming amount of different reptile species being captured, mutilated, killed and sold in the streets. I have read countless reports of dealings with vendors who do horrific things. (everyone needs to make a livelyhood, don't get me wrong, but maybe we should pay these folks to protect instead of black market these animals)
I remember hearing of the "de~toothing" process in which large snakes teeth are removed and mouths sewn shut while alive for display and sale purposes.
I can easily believe this picture was not photo shopped

I think the picture is real. I think whoever took the picture was bathing the kid, put the snake around the child, then stepped back real quick and snapped a picture. I think the "white" that pat sees is just poor image quality.

And just think...i'm sure those people are looking at pictures of Americans saying "THEY HAVE DOGS AS PETS! that's my lunch.."

and i would have to agree on the dog thing too. I looked at the photo and saw a few flaws but nothing that screams photo shop.
