Yes, it looks like a hypo to me too. I would also snap him up at $30. That's a steal even for a normal! And, yeah, he'll calm down. Babies are nippy, but with regular gentle handling, he'll soon be a sweety. :gj:

Try feeding him in a seprate container so he knows when u reach in his enclosure ur not food. I take my guy out of his vivarium and put him in a box for feedings. its worked out well. Hasnt bit me...yet. Hes only a few months old. Do u feed live or frozen food? if u r feeding live food he will tend to be more aggressive.

I feed my ball python in her enclosure and I usually feed frozen except when she went off feed for a long time.

    I would rather feed frozen.

i feed frozen also. Try feeding him in a seprate box, that way he wont associate his enclosure with food and the nipping should calm down. b sure u handle him regularly also.

your boa is probably a hypo, but may also be a het albino. They hav the more rust, gold, and orange tones. If thats the case u got a real steal for $30. Hes beautiful.

Looks like a nice clean normal to me, other wise know as pastel.
Possible a hypo/salmon, but those pics just don't make me think so.
The tail says normal more than anything. Hypos tend to only have full black outlines on the last 3-5 tail blotches, vs all on none hypos.

Either way $30 is a good deal.
