Take Garlic pills, even Garlique works and it doesn't make you smell bad. After about 3-4 days you will notice an extreme reduction in the number of bites you get.

If you dont smoke. go to the gas stastion and get a few Swisher or Phillies and boil them for a few minutes. Spray you door frames and window frames. Its natural and nontoxic and doesnt have an odor when dry. I promise you it will be effective.

wow i've never heard of this before; and you're sure theres no smell? i just don't want my landlords or neighbors thinking i'm smoking in here lol. I like that i don't have to put it on myself. thanks!

Peaceful sleep is great! Put some on and you're smiling!! Also try citronella oil or candles, you burn it and the mozzies run for the hills. If you have a shop that sells incense sticks get some citronella ones, they really work well, and we get B52 size mosquitoes here!

A strong fan is also an essential part of the arsenal because they can't handle the heavy wind!!!

No it does not smell once dry.. so there is a slight odor for about 5 minutes. But it doesnt smell like youve been smoking. The nicotine itself has a almost sweet sugary smell. Burn tobacco (tobacco that has been smoke) smells like a nasty ashtray so no worries about people thinking your smoking. I spray down my whole porch and garden about once a month depending on the rain. This is something lots of us cigar smokers do every summer. Trust me, every winter we are just itching to be able to have a cigar, then summer comes and we get ate up by mosquitoes.... Citanella candles work but they have their own odor, you start to taste that smell in your cigar, yuck. Anyway not to get too far off topic so just try it. :gj:

I find that the citronella incense sticks work better than candels, they're cheaper and from what I've seen they keep working after the smell goes!

I've never heard of the cigar trick before, I'll keep that in mind. I tell you, with our humidity and climate the Mozzies we get here look like those big B52 Bombers you have over there!!!

I trust peaceful sleep because when I go fishing up the north coast, from St Lucia Bay to say Sodwana and the Mozambique border, you go into a malaria hot zone, and even though you take tablets I always feel better knowing I have something that keep them away from me, just to be safe since I really don't ever want to cross swords with malaria!
