So is it a desert as in the desert that makes the tiger ball? And orange ghost as in the recessive gene that makes the caramel glow? Plus pastel. Right?

Yes. He could have easily just said Desert Hypo Pastel and had no confusion....

I just came across this snake on WOBP while looking at Asphalts...not really sure why it was in that section, but it does look amazing and it turns out I have the balls to make it! ahaha. It may be next year before my hypo girl is of size though:(. Nice looking snake never the less

Lol. I read the reasoning behind the name which started out as a joke on another forum site. It had to do with the confusion people were having between the desert and desert ghost names.
