Whole new animal right there. First time all I got was tramadol (aka Ultram, a bullcrap drug which doesn't work half as well as a tylenol). The second time I laid in the ER for 6 hours hollering and begging for anything to alleviate my pain before the doctor mainlined me some dilauded. That worked for about two hours, but after that all I had for pain was my leftover tramadol. They believed that crap works miracles.

Kidney stones run in our families. My dad has had them, my father in law has had them, my mother in law has, I've had them. That means my wife and brother in law are next.

You have my upmost sympathies! I hope you pass them soon. Did they put you on flomax? You think the excessive drinking makes you have to pee? They put me on that I had to pee every 5 minutes and 4 of those minutes I was trying to not have to get up to go pee.

They gave me percoset for pain. It's wonderful stuff. Makes me a bit silly accoding to my wife but I don't care.

When you're in that much pain, it doesn't matter how stoned ya are as long as it takes the edge off! At least thats how I felt and I don't even take ibuprofen or tylenol.

I hate to agree with the men, but I worked on a surgical floor for a long time and the pain for them is horrendous. We women can understand and hopefully sympathize with them. Men are not cut out for this type of pain! And a huge stone through their tiny tube, is comparable to birth for us!
