Both have their ups, but I am really a big fan of the flames on lesser clowns and killer clowns with a more classic clown pattern so I would probably get a classic clown before getting a really reduced pattern clown.

Definitely reduced pattern for me. These are a few of my favorites from the last couple seasons. I can also tell you from experience that the reduced pattern clowns are WAY easier to sell when you start producing them.

I love the clowns that are in the middle. I don't want them covered in drippy pattern, but in moderation it looks really nice to me. The fully reduced ones don't do anything for me when they get older. I like them like this: http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/c...sive/clown.jpg

As far as combos go I also tend to like them with a medium amount of pattern as well so far.

I actually like some of the busy patterns! I saw one that really explained to me why they call them clowns..because it just looked like it belonged in a circus with near perfect circles and the pattern wrapped around them! Too cool, very jester esque.

But I love any clown :rolleye2: especially lesser clowns! Dream snake! Someday I hope to get a clown and a lesser het clown pair! :D

I really like the reduced clowns, but also think the ones with some drips coming down the sides from the main dorsal stripe are nice. My male has a lot of the drips. He was the ONLY clown left in Daytona 2010 when I got there on Sunday, so I recommend you get to Pomona early on the first day. Clowns are a hot item now with new combos still to be made. My male with a pretty pastel:

I'm all about the reduced pattern clowns. That's what got me started in my spider clown project.
