Yaaaaaaa!!!! Not to hijack, but to compare the lack of evidence that sent them away for almost 20 years & casey anthony walks free , I'd like someone to explain that for me.

The legal system in this country is broken beyond repair.

I agree.. They were convicted on absolutely no evidence back then and I think it's stupid that they had to make this "deal" to finally get released (pleading guilty to murder after all these years of maintaining their innocence), but it's obvious for those who have followed it that the overwhelming evidence says they are innocent. At least now they are finally free. Damien is off death row and can finally physically touch his wife. And the three of them can fight on the outside to exonerate their names for good.

Their entire lives have been wasted in prison. This is long over due.

According to news reports the release was set up and worded so that they could never win a compensation case if they sued a civil case against the justice system

Yeah, it's total bull they had to agree to a plea bargain. Hopefully they will still be able to win their full innocence. I also hope they reopen the case because they now have the DNA evidence linking the one father and his friend to the crime scene.

I remember watching a documentary in college called Paradise Lost. I remember there was a guy who stumpled into a local Bojanges on the night of the murders coverered in blood, and when the staff called the cops, they were too busy to investigate.

And I couldn't agree more with the fact that they had to plead guilty to get out is BS, but after almost 20 years, I'd probably do the same if it was me. But it's good to know they get to breathe free air again after the justice system screwed them for so long.

That's absolutely true. The guy did go in there with blood on him and no one cared. Then the boys are found murdered and no thought to say, oh hey! This guy was in here last night covered in blood and went in the bathroom to wash up but we just thought it was normal!

There is also a paradise lost 2 and they are going to release a part 3.
