    Thanks for the responses so far. This seems like a reasonable timeline to me and a good way to base guarantee's off of pick-up vs. shipped. I haven't ever bought a snake from a breeder but I plan on doing so. Both The Snake Keeper and Jeremy Stone Reptiles are within 30 minutes of my house and so I will check there when I'm ready to buy, especially if they offer guarantees that are like the ones you mentioned.

    Thanks for the info on the guarantee timeline suggestions. If anyone else does something similar or different I'd like to know.
