The normal in the clutch does make me think it was retained sperm from last year since the other 2 males were doubles and like you said, no spiders or pastels.
I had the same thing happen to me this year. Hatched babies from a male I didn't breed this year lol.

Thanks everyone. The 2 normals in the clutch really threw me. I wouldn't expect that from a spinnerblast but it could happen. Either way I'm happy.

I would still take it as nothing more then the fact that you hit the pinstripe odds from your spinner and none of the others. Retaining genetics from another snake for a year sounds... Miuno..

I believe it was from the spinnerblast even if you didn't had a pastel or a spider in the clutch doesn't mean he is not the dad. im 99.9% sure he is the dad but I have 1% of been wrong ....and congrads nice kingpin and clutch none the less
