remove the tub from the rack an grab her gently with one hand. once that hand is on her she normally just lets out a hiss an you can now grab her with both hands and slowly take her off the eggs. every now and then i get a bitter but i dont blame them i wouldnt want anyone taking my babies either. Tiff cant wait to see how many she lays i know youve been looking forward to this for a while

Tiffany, that's awesome! After opening her tub give her a couple seconds to calm down, and as others have said touching her to calm her down may help. I just slowly and gently unwrap her from the eggs. Early on I tried the towel and it seemed to freak them out more then anything. Good luck!

After I take her off the eggs, do I wash her down with just regular warm water or is soap necessary to get the scent of the eggs off completely?

Dish soap is fine just make sure it's rinsed off. Also give the tub a good scrub to get rid of any egg scent in there. She will cruise around the tub for awhile looking for her eggs. Give her a few days and then offer a smaller meal than normal.

Congrats on the eggies!

I have used both dish soap and normal mild soap to wash off the females before.
