Re: 3 new holdback females
I just started throwing Black Eyed Whites myself. Most of the pairings offspring are very lightly marked Masked, with 25% being true Black Eyed Whites. So far, the offspring aren't showing issues with megacolon and some of them are upwards of six months old.
The same pairing throws really odd blue colors with the masked offspring. Which I remember there being Blue color caused by the spotting gene (High White), but wasn't really explored due to it being dangerous. I think it was called Chinchilla or some such.
Anyway, very adorable babies! I really enjoy seeing all of the ratties you have. If you didn't live so far away, I'd be bumming a Burmese out of you. :)

Unless they get hit with late onset mega colon I'd say they will be fine.
My breeding partner and I have yet to throw mega colon with any of our rats including the BEW's, hopefully it stays that way :P

I believe my partner has made blue masked but I'd have to ask him to confirm that

Oh, I have regular Blue Masked (both Russian and English). But these start out with black ticking and end up looking greyish/black. I wish I had held back one where you could see the colors a little better, but most that are colored like that are only lightly marked (eye spots, etc).
One of the Blues is on the very bottom being mooshed, the other is on the far right.
