I love baking and making desserts! Some of my favorites are traditional southern style things my mom use to make. She's from the south but my dad is 100% northern Italian so I got a little of everything growing up. I baked my own birthday cake from scratch this year. I do cookies, baked custards and creme brule', cakes, etc. I also love to experiment.

    Some of my favorites are..
-Banana pudding dessert w vanilla wafers & cool whip.
-Strawberry jello filled angel food cake.
    -Monkey bread
    -Bread pudding
    -Rice pudding
    -Ambrosia fruit salad
-Whole Apple Dumplings with caramel sauce
    -Lemon bundt cake w/lemon glaze
    -Blondies w/pecans
    -baked custards and creme brule'

    Mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!

Lol it was all my moms fault! I wouldn't even know what these things are if it wasn't for her. My parents owned and managed a few restaurants in my lifetime and everything was always home made. She never went to school for it. She was just a natural when it came to cooking and baking.

She made home made pasta, sauces, beer batter, frostings, soups, everything. It was a feast every day at my house. I don't cook like she did but when I do, I go all out.

I also make a roast leg of lamb with potatoes and veggies that will turn anyone into a lamb lover!

    Ohhhh, I love to bake!!

Cookies and brownies and pies and cakes and cheesecakes and cupcakes and muffins and breads of all kinds and rolls. I also love cake decorating and jelly making

Let's see, what are some of my signature items ?

    Cookies there's:

Chocolate chip, peanut butter, snickerdoodles, sugar cookies, lemon cookies, pecan snowballs, chocolate M&M, Monster cookies and peanut butter no-bakes.

    Also:

Peanut butter fudge brownies and lemon meringue pies and caramel apple cheesecake and real blueberry muffins. Pineapple-Banana bread and pumpkin spice bread and no-knead refrigerator rolls.

I make concord grape jelly with grapes bought in Missouri wine country, strawberry jam, crabapple jelly, pumpkin butter and caramel apple butter, cinnamon apple jelly and spiced peach jam, pear jelly my hubby calls "liquid gold", sour cherry jelly and prickly pear jam and delicate pear butter that's heaven-in-a-jar as my mom says.

My Aunt Irene's Peanut Butter fudge that's been in my family for at least 70 years and homemade peanut brittle. And don't forget rice crispy treats! I make those in plain, peanut butter, and chocolate.

I love to bake too! One of the most fun things I ever did was take a cake decorating class with my mom many years ago-it was so much fun :D
