First bathing session, Clearly the little one doesnt like the water as much XD
it was just chilling on my arm for a bit, should have seen it try to dart out after the first minute of soaking. Hopefully tomorrows bath session will go okay.

Oh, and they said it was from a local breeder of theirs. however it was in a strange tower of terarriums with alot of other reptiles, boas, other pythons, monitors, geckos, king snakes, corns, beardies, and I think a frog or two? O_o.
I'll call and let them know about the find tomorrow.

If it has all those internal parasites then it was either kept in filthy conditions at the "breeders" in close proximity to other infested snakes, or it is a wild caught.
Did your vet give it a parasite treatment? It may take a few doses to completely get rid of them but once they are gone he will probably seem like a different animal.

Did you get it from S&S Exotics? Just a guess. Maybe you should post your experience with this store on the BOI.

Re: And the story Begins
They say they got him from a breeder, didnt state which. and no it was Petland, I'm going to call and inform them of the issue. And the vets informed me i'll need to go in every 2 weeks for another treatment for the parasites atlesat 2 or 3 more times.
I'm going to give it another bath in a moment and then its off to the pet store to see if I can't get it to eat a small live fuzzy.

after calling they changed the story to "It was wild caught"
Lovely...

In that case the birdseed makes sense now. Do keep us informed and I hope he eats for you. Just keep up the good work and don't bother him unless you're doing a treatment. Hopefully he will bounce back and live a long life with you :)

Day 3 summary
TONIGHT HAS BEEN GOOD!
Ive decided on a slight terarrium change, I bought a slightly more shalow tub so that I can use an under tank heater, the vent i made in the top of the snakes current tub leaks too much humidity out and due to the heigth of the perch bar, i believe its too hot near the top and not hot enough near the bottom.
This mornings bath went smoothly, got it to soak more of its upper body than I did last night, and it also decided to stay on the more humid side of its terrarium. always good news =D
However! In even better news, Tonight the little one ate! didn't take long at all either! just dangled the little fuzzy in front of him a bit, peaked its interest then poked its nose with the mouse and WACHOW!!!!
after 2 minutes of motionless suffocation, the little mouse was like a zombie santa mouse, down the chimney it went! No pictures this time, didn't want to stress it out mid feed. I'll get a good shot for you guys next week though. You've got my word =3
