There are many people in your situation honestly, but please do consider that since you would be unable to find a qualified herp vet within a stones throw, would you go through the trouble to find one somewhere else, in the next town perhaps, and be able to bring your snake there the moment it needs medical attention? Even if it is hours drive away?
