well i'm using a 36" by 18" by 18" exo-terra tank. I have a zoomed uth underneath my hot side, and a 75 watt infrared bulb with a clamp lamp. any suggestions for a setup like that?

I never had to play with my helix.... I set it up and forgot it..... It has always worked perfect for me.....

My Helix never needed any type of adjustment, I just set to the temp I need and it takes care of the rest

Look into the Spyder Robotics Herpstat. They are awesome and Dione is awesome to deal with.

I'll add another vote for Herpstat. I have a Herpstat Pro, Herpstat II, and a Herpstat ND. I have used Rancos and Helixs in the past but now I use only Herpstats. I love them and have not heard anyone else having problems either.
