I just use pillow cases that are turned inside out (so that the loose threads inside don't strangle the snake.) I use the bags for my snakes and for wild snakes.

Muslin makes nice bags for small snakes. For bigger snakes duck canvas is a little sturdier.

We have used muslin cotton very breathable with purple thread and purple shoe string type material as a tie. Very pretty and at $0.64 a piece total price for 24 x 12 bags not that bad.

I made my own in the pass I just use what ever fabric mom had left over I stich it all so it inside out so the losse thread are outside and it easy to make the drawstring bag I just make a small cut and run a strin though a double stiched section ( about a inch between them)
