That's been my experience so far too, they are very curious and don't mind getting in your face. Wait until you feed her for the first time. I accidentally scared mine when I tried to feed her last night and she then spent 15-20 minutes hissing at me with her mouth open. :P
That is funny.... She has eaten for me 3 times already.... The day after I picked her up was her normal feeding day so I offered her food and she took it without hesitation. Then she has eaten a small f/t rat for me every seven days since. She takes within seconds of me offering them to her....

Wow, what a beautiful girl!! :D Congrats!! It is amazing how much her color changed... I love how light she is!!
Re: Introducing my newest addition.
Absolutely stunning! As a rule I don't like coral albinos but I like that almost as much as my lipstick. :P
Re: Introducing my newest addition.
beautiful colours...congrats
Ya, Boas have personality...was holding my 2 year old boa, calm as can be...even a day or two before shedding, trying to explore everything. My little year old guy, struck at me about 8 times two nights ago, tagged me twice...girlfriend never seen a snake bite, but she handled it pretty well...ball python just sits patiently, like, "are we done yet, I need to go back to my hide and rest"
Re: Introducing my newest addition.
Awesome pickup! I love her coloring. I, too, am a BP guy who has added a few boas to the collection. I went from one baby normal boa girl a month ago (my first) to now owning 5. I have been just as obsessed about learning boa localities and genetics as I was with the BP's when I first got into them. There are a ton of differences (not just personality) in the boa world than the BP world.
Boa people are very opinionated on cross breeding and "muddying" locality specific boas. That's mostly on the CBB side. The CBI side is where the big morph industry seems to be, but I'm also learning that there is a nice Central American morph thing happening. The CA's are a whole seperate animal - smaller, a little more aggressive, and a little different pattern-wise.
It's all really cool stuff, though!
Great pickup.
