    most colors and patterns are genetic but you never know what you will get till you try to prove them out

    Depends if you want to selectively breed and try to shoot for the best looking offsprings or not ;)

    I would not pair a dark female with anything other than a dark morph personally.

    For a pastel I would try to find a female as light as possible.
