Why did you charge for it??? Just to make a quick buck? That kind of it a sucky thing to do. Maybe I missed the original thread. But couldn't you have spoken to your parents instead of hiding it and then perhaps have been able to have a great pet. If keeping it was out of the question the more moral and responsible thing to have done was to find a good family for him and rehome him for free. The same way you got him. A mature and responsible young person would have spoken to their parents and not up charged someone 80 for hiding a beardy for a few day. I am sorry if this isn't what you want to hear.

I could see asking a SMALL rehome fee, if you'd taken care of the beardie for a couple of weeks, and also to keep someone from doing what you just did.......getting something for free and then making a profit off of it with no regard to the fact that it's a living animal. And by SMALL rehome fee, I'm talking maybe the $20 it would have cost to feed/house it for a couple of weeks.

Im really amazed people here care about the money, he found it a home regardless if he gave it away for free, 80 bucks or 1000 bucks.... who cares?

though hiding an animal in your forbidding parents household is just stupid, hope you learned your lesson

I do like where he says he's mature because he drives and has a job, but yet he brags about hiding things from parents.

    Give the kid a break!

Was what he did necessarily right? No. Did any harm come to the beardie? Likely not. We're not here to discuss this kid's morals. The dragon he had kept unethically in his possession is out. It's not released into the wild. It's not hidden from his parents. I for one can rest a little easier knowing the outcome of this.

    my 2 cents...

    Is it April 1?

    I don't think there's a 16 year old kid.

I don't think there's a dragon anywhere but imagination land.

I don't think there are any parents finding hidden drugs and I don't think whoever this is has EVER even used a condom.

I think my roses would like this thread though.
