    and what other posters see as smug I see as confidence. To me, it's powerful to see such a young person share her passion in such a way. Thank you for linking to this, I would never have seen it otherwise!

    Yeah. So I showed it to a non-herp friend, and it made her all teary-eyed. She's having a weepy-eyed kinda day today, and she was all embarrassed about that, but she said, "my little two boys are so upset about extinction and species loss."

    I said, "I was pretty upset about it, too, at their age."

    And she said, "Yeah. It's really almost criminal how we get hardened to it as we get older."

    i LOVED the standing ovation she got, oh so cute but...
    i was getting reeeealllly nervous watching the boa slowly work it's bulky-ness around that itty bitty neck!
    it just looked so...BIG in comparison to her!

    back stage guy: " :O you said there was nothing in the box!"

    judge: "can you breathe?"
    cute girl: "yes."

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    we DEFINITELY need these little enthusiasts representin' us!

    I felt my eyes tear up a little bit, the "poe-em" (love her accent) was beautiful. I posted this on my FB page because lots of my friends from Farmville tell me in response to my photos "the only good snake is a dead snake". >:/
    Let's see what they think once they find out that if you feed a snake properly and it isn't starving, it won't just go around devouring little girls and pet dogs all day--they actually don't prefer them. :rolleyes:
