    Pretty little baby.

I agree with the consensus, I'd bet the little girl with the ringer is going to prove out a het, and the dark one will not.

From what I have read in various places, a LOT of het pieds carry ringers. One of my three does.

I'd have been pretty excited if I hatched that little cutie as well!

Do either of the parents carry the pied gene?

My latest purchase was a 0.1 Spider 100% Het Pied. She doesn't have a ringer.. so you never know, they both could be hets!

And I thought purchasing one was a cool feeling.. I couldn't IMAGINE what creating one would feel like! Best of luck proving her out!! Congrats and they are all beautiful little babies!!

I wouldn't put as much stock in the ringer showing that its a het more than that color. Ringers happen all over the place with every different morph. It does seem to happen a little more with Pieds but it doesn't make it certain. If you look at certain morphs that are also het for other morphs (not just pied)...most of the time the color will show differently (lighter) because of it being het for that other morph. Which is why I come to the conclusion that the lighter one is het...not because of the ringer, but because of the color.

Wow she's gorgeous! I would call her a ringer and see if you can't prove her out as a het pied! :gj:

Like others have said, keep in mind that a ringer doesn't mean het pied, it simply means they are a ringer. Her color is amazing, which would definitely make her a keeper to prove out in my book!

Sorry I haven't posted back sooner. I have been swamped with work and eggs and family ... there just are not enough hours in the day!

OK so I saw this on the pictures while I was stuck at work so ... my first reaction was OMGWTF HONK BLARG!

After I got home and thought a bit and started looking her over more and more I am a bit conflicted.
I can see the ringer and I agree but then she has more than one ring and the tip of her tail is white. (I know pictures are coming!) I have never seen a double ringer before have any of you?

And her belly is bright white but it has a few flecks on it. Almost all of the pieds I have seen had the bright white belly.

Most of the Spideys that I have seen (99%) where almost solid white with spider heads.

So as far as I know right now I got a : (in my 11 year old nephews words not mine)
"Really Freaking BRIGHT White Tipped Double Ringer Het Pied Spider Ball python of impending DOOM!"

And I am quite happy with her!:D (I will try and get pictures soon I promise!)

    Thanks!

    Mike
