    Simple Man
    My Bee and Pastel don't sit and wait for food. I get near their tubs and they come out of their hides in a hurry. I think it depends on the snakes stress/comfort level. All but two of mine pretty much meet me at the opening when I slide the tubs out on feeding day. There is no ambushing. One of the shy snakes ambushes a bit but she's also my smallest snake. I would personally offer another meal. Just some thoughts...
